Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain software components for autonomous navigation, perception, and control systems.
- Implement algorithms for localization, mapping, path planning, and motion control.
- Optimize and enhance existing software architecture to improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with sensors, actuators, and other robotic systems.
- Conduct code reviews, write technical documentation, and ensure code quality and best practices are upheld.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) developing software for robotics or autonomous systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java, with strong software design and architecture skills.
- Hands-on experience with robotics frameworks (ROS, Robot Operating System) and simulation tools (Gazebo, V-REP, etc.).
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures relevant to robotics applications (e.g., SLAM, Kalman filters, PID controllers).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration, and deployment practices.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Previous work in autonomous vehicles or related industries.
