About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Supernal. As a key member of our Quality Assurance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality plans, inspection and test methods, and procedures to ensure compliance with design requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure conformity with design requirements and quality standards.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Initiate nonconforming material reports and root cause investigations for product quality issues.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the procurement and supply chain teams with supplier approvals, contract reviews, and supplier quality issues.
  • Support the manufacturing team with the development and approval of manufacturing process plans and resolution of manufacturing issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation manufacturing, quality engineering, or quality assurance.
  • Comprehension of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standard.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • Experience with programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), inspection of machine components, and performance of gauge R&R studies is desirable.
