Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assessment Specialist to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans.

This is an IN-PERSON position, where you will conduct physical exams and document findings electronically through a web portal.

You will NOT treat or prescribe medication in this role, as the focus is solely on providing medical opinions to support disability determinations made by the VA.

About the Role

This full-time position requires a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, with the ability to analyze medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and forms.

A typical day involves conducting 3-5 patient assessments, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key attributes include independence, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in using computers.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, including health insurance options and a computer supplied for work purposes.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8a-4p, with no on-call duties.

All work is performed in a clinical setting, allowing you to serve the veteran community while working a regular schedule.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license and be proficient in using technology.
