Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to provide engineering and Information Technology services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and Analyze Requirements
    • Gather, formulate, and analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams
    • Participate in an integrated Product Team to design new capabilities.
  • Coordinate Resolution of Action Items
    • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
  • Establish and Gain Approval of System Definitions
    • Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.).
  • Provide Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical leadership for the conducting feasibility studies, integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Interact with Customers
    • Interact with the Customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Develop System Engineering Documentation
    • Experience developing system engineering documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience or 19 years of total experience in Systems.
  • Technical Skills
    • Experience with requirements verification traceability Matrices (RVTM).
    • Experience briefing and taking systems through system level reviews (i.e., System Requirements reviews, System Engineering review boards, Configuration Control Boards, Software validation testing).
    • Experience with Hardware and Software systems.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
    • Currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
