At Ryder System, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Rental Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our commercial rental customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the front-line sales agent for the rental of vehicles to our current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs.
  • Work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management to maximize revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
  • Utilize excellent communication and negotiation skills to close sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least one year of sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Goal-oriented, driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
