Job Title: Hairstylist - Spa

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our guests, including hair styling, cutting, coloring, and highlighting. Responsibilities:

  • Provide hair styling and beauty services to guests, including haircuts, color treatments, and styling.
  • Consult with guests to determine their hair needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other spa professionals to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques, and share your knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a full-service salon or spa.
  • Valid Cosmetology license issued by the state of Florida.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to general public and excessive noise.

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Employment Process:

Seminole Gaming's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to, credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screens.
