Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with all tax-related activities of the US federal and state income tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of US federal and state income/franchise tax returns.
  • Research and resolve issues identified during the return preparation process to ensure accuracy of filings.
  • Assist with calculating and processing of quarterly estimated and extension income tax payments.
  • Assist with management of US federal and state income tax audits.
  • Research of tax statutes, regulations and case law to assist in developing tax positions for the company.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise on the impact of new laws on the company.
  • Assist with Federal and State Income Tax Planning Projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's in Taxation a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of tax experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
