Job Summary:
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is a leading institution in the field of health sciences. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies, you will work independently and collaboratively with research and evaluation staff to perform high-level policy research and evaluation activities. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, direct, and perform complex policy research projects, analyze data, and interpret results to inform evidence-based recommendations. You will also develop and manage research contracts, act as a technical expert, and disseminate research findings through publications and presentations.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires advanced scientific and analytical skills. You will work closely with Commissioners, Legislators, and various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Additionally, you should be proficient in operating computer software, including common organizational or research-specific applications, and have experience working in an enclosed office environment.
