We are seeking a Medical Director for Patient Care at Novant Health. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Providers by preparing patients for medical exams, assessments, and telephone triages. This includes ensuring the implementation and success of NHMG goals, organizing and directing the clinical environment, and coordinating teams to assure effective care is given to provide quality patient care in physician practices.
The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system. You will collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families.
In addition to your nursing expertise, you will utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey. As a Medical Director for Patient Care, you will accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for growth and development, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required. A 4-year/Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Excellent human relation skills, effective oral and written communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in personal computers and relevant software applications is also required.
