About the Role

Holiday Beach Companies is seeking a highly skilled Service Plumber to join our team. As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our facilities' plumbing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain good working order of Company vehicle, including refueling, servicing, and reporting mechanical issues.
  • Service and repair all plumbing systems, including water closets, urinals, sinks, faucets, drinking fountains, and associated piping, in compliance with NSF, ADA, and State Plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Service all infrastructure, including sanitary lines, grease lines, oil lines, grease traps, lift stations, and interceptors, and operate large cable commercial sewer machines and high-pressure line jetting equipment.
  • Service all potable water systems, including water softeners, water heaters, steam effect boilers, potable backflow preventers, circulating pumps, tempering valves, mixing valves, high-pressure lines, nozzles, and pumps, and all related potable water assets.
  • Service all natural gas systems, including above-ground and below-ground pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Service all steam boilers and piping, perform daily water conductivity tests on boiler feed water, and maintain all flame, water, natural gas, and pressure controls, as well as all other safety devices.
  • Service all water-based fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, industrial backflow preventers, and all related fire infrastructure.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A high school degree or GED is required.
  • Technical school is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility, or a fast-paced service company dedicated to plumbing repair is required.
  • 1+ year of experience in Lift stations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable or willing to learn to operate an iPad.
  • Experience in residential plumbing systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs; occasionally lifting items weighing more than 100 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely.
  • Dexterity to place pipes down with precision and accuracy.
  • Good physical fitness; hand-eye coordination and ability to quickly respond to sounds.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including outdoors in time of excessive heat and inclement weather.
