Job Summary

This Financial Operations Manager position plays a key role in our Finance Department, overseeing all aspects of accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing accounting teams and possess strong knowledge of the real estate industry and Yardi software. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required, with a master's degree or CPA certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and check runs.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls. Coordinate preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, reporting variances. Manage compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Utilize Yardi software to streamline accounting processes and procedures. Collaborate with CFO and executive management team to inform company's financial strategy and operations.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in managerial accounting, preferably within the real estate industry. Proven experience with Yardi software essential. Strong understanding of GAAP, bookkeeping, and accounting best practices. Excellent computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
