The Hydraulic Workshop Assistant plays a crucial role in the production of hydraulic hoses for our valued customers, as well as assisting in vehicle modifications and overall shop organization. This position may also involve supporting various shop and store functions as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate hydraulic hoses, which includes measuring, cutting, assembling, crimping, and verifying hose assemblies according to established shop protocols.
- Support store operations by managing phone inquiries, processing invoices, and handling customer payments.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking tasks as necessary.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); an Associate's Degree or technical certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems, mechanical, and electrical principles is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic service environment.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a secure work environment.
