Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team for an externship opportunity. As a key member of our clinical team, you'll have the chance to apply your skills and knowledge in a real-world setting, working alongside our experienced professionals to deliver top-notch care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing equipment
- Take and develop radiographs, as well as prepare dental materials and instruments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
- Current enrollment in a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

The externship is a 10-week program that will provide you with hands-on experience in a real-world dental setting. You'll work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge, and gain a deeper understanding of the dental assisting profession.
Upon completion of the externship, you'll receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to sit for the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) exam.
