Full Time Dental Assistant

Georgetown Smile is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full Time Dental Assistant to join our team in Washington DC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our dentists in providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental instruments and sterilization methods, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists chairside during procedures
  • Welcome patients and prepare them for treatments or checkups
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Requirements:

  • Active District of Columbia dental assistant license
  • DA II or DA III certification
  • 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
