Job SummaryThis PRN position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals. As an Emergency Services RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of care to assigned patients, as well as performing various clinical tasks and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and attention to each patient
- Develop and implement effective care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Administer medications, perform various clinical procedures, and provide education to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire
