Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

CR&R Incorporated is a leading environmental recycling collection company serving over 3 million people and 25,000 businesses across Southern California. We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to perform repairs on our fleet of diesel-equipped vehicles, including front loaders, side loaders, and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy-duty truck repair, with experience in CNG systems, brake systems, hydraulic ram systems, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-equipped vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with CNG systems, brake systems, hydraulic ram systems, and electrical systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective repair processes
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of CNG systems, brake systems, hydraulic ram systems, and electrical systems
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Previous experience in the refuse industry with diesel and A/C systems is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
