We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center in Massachusetts. As a Physician Assistant in our General Internal Medicine Service Line, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to our nation's veterans.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive wellness care, acute, episodic, and chronic care to adult clients
- Hold privileges and practice in collaboration with a physician
- Coordinate inpatient care and provide guidance and continuity for Medicine residents and other trainees
- Work in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to design and/or continuously improve the quality of care delivered to veterans
- Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a Physician Assistant
- Successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE)
- Currently hold, or will hold, a full and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia
Experience with medicine inpatients in collaboration with an attending physician
Work ScheduleTour of Duty is based on team: Direct Care Team and Resident-Led Team
Physical RequirementsThis work is mostly sedentary and requires some standing, bending, and carrying light items
Education NoteOnly education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment
