Join Our Team as a Medical Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a key member of our Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, you will be responsible for providing leadership, training, and supervision to our staff of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry team
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services for children and adolescents
  • Supervise and mentor psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and psychology interns and externs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for our patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry and Board Eligibility or Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and education
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of $225,000-260,000
