Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Senior Accountant to enhance our accounting department. This role involves the preparation and analysis of financial documentation for a diverse range of clients. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in bookkeeping, multi-state sales tax, payroll tax, and demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles in a comparable position. While a CPA or EA designation is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and exhibit a strong commitment to achieving results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and scrutinize financial records, statements, tax documents, and various financial reports
  • Provide QuickBooks support to clients
  • Develop and assess financial reporting for operational and budgetary purposes
  • Oversee assigned projects, deadlines, and compliance requirements
  • Supervise Bookkeeping Staff, review their work, and provide training as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or related fields
  • Basic understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency with current accounting software and reporting tools
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
