The core responsibilities include:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and optimizing the aerodynamics of combustion reactors and oxidation systems, focusing on critical aspects such as fuel/air mixing, heat management, emissions control, and overall system performance.
  • Conducting emissions compliance testing, including planning and executing certification tests and preparing detailed reports.
  • Supporting the development of engine components and subsystems, with a keen eye on functionality, durability, manufacturability, serviceability, cost efficiency, and weight considerations.
  • Leading initiatives to construct, test, and validate prototypes to identify and rectify design issues.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent or CFX) and 3D CAD software (NX).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and analysis of combustion systems, utilizing tools such as Cantera and Chemkin.
  • Experience with gas turbines in aerospace, power generation, or industrial heating sectors.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of emissions regulations related to combustion system development.
  • Experience with gas turbine reaction flow and air/fuel mixing processes.
