Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Cook to join our team at Biscayne Bay Restaurant Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including vegetables, meats, and specialty dishes, using a range of cooking techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and cooking methods, and be able to communicate this information to colleagues and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
