Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at The Crossings, a leader in retirement living. As a LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement plans to address residents' needs and promote independence.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas license required.
  • Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
  • Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems, and takes the initiative to make things better.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
