Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join our team at True Harvest. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and quality of our cannabis plants. Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks in the grow area, including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar, and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, cleaning, and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of soil growing methods, including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, and nutrient implementation.
- Work with container systems, including soil and coco, and understand temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the Cultivation Manager and Leads to ensure the smooth operation of the cultivation team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field desirable.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in nursery, landscaping, or agricultural settings; experience in the medical cannabis industry highly desirable.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
