Sr. Pharmacy Technician

Description:

• This is a fulltime position with full benefits and weekly direct deposit pay. The Sr Pharmacy Tech Front End is a certified and/or licensed position (based on state requirements).

• Provide full scope patient quality assurance with a focus on quality/accuracy drivers and pharma program requirements

• Assist with new hire and departmental training

• Provide primary support and resolution for escalated issues and challenging cases

• Conduct quality monitoring and audits of team

• Conduct side-by-sides (Work in Progress management)

• Participate in special projects as needed

• Provide temporary backup to department Supervisor

• Can and will perform the job responsibilities defined in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3

• Other registered and/or licensed responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate

(Specialized Pharma/Disease Focused Team):

• Can and will perform the job responsibilities defined in Level 2 and Level 3 (Specialized Pharma/Disease Focused Team)

• Other registered and/or licensed responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate

Pharmacy, Data entry, Call center, Prior authorization, Customer service, Pharmacy technician certification, Health care, Insurance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED

• 1 year of work experience in a healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM and/or call center setting

• Current Pharmacy Technician License/Registration without restrictions in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy if required in the State in which the position is located (for Pharmacy Tech levels)

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

• Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite and/or similar operating/software programs

• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner
