About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as a Tenure Track Faculty in Cancer and Redox Biology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer cell metabolism and redox biology, with a proven track record of research excellence and a commitment to teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative and impactful research in cancer cell metabolism and redox biology, with a focus on understanding the underlying mechanisms of cancer development and progression.
  • Develop and lead research projects, including designing and implementing experiments, analyzing data, and publishing research findings in top-tier journals.
  • Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including developing and teaching courses, advising students, and mentoring research projects.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers within the department and across the university to advance our understanding of cancer and redox biology.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, including securing funding from external sources and building a team of research staff and students.
Requirements
  • PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in a relevant field, such as cancer biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology.
  • Postdoctoral or faculty-level research experience in cancer cell metabolism and redox biology, with a strong publication record.
  • Track record of successful funding in cancer biology and/or redox biology, including grants and awards.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
