Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to join our team in San Ysidro, California.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced clinic environment, providing medical services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will be motivated, collaborative, and work well in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of the elderly
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow-up
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
  • Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation, including medical records, as required by the department, clinic, state, and federal agencies
  • Supervises Nurses and assistants in examining room and may serve as preceptor for team members
Requirements:
  • CA medical license as NP
  • CA DEA certificate before start date
  • Board certified
  • CPR certification
  • Demonstrated experience in community clinic and/or Managed Care System
  • Experience working with the elderly
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Spanish
