Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice House team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will provide professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development
  • Participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical or long-term care experience. Minimum 1 year Hospice nursing experience (or equivalent education and/or experience)
  • Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
