We're seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Research Operations Manager to join our team at Alteryx. As a key member of our User Experience team, you will play a critical role in uncovering actionable insights from users that drive the design and development of next-generation analytical software.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and facilitate the operational improvements necessary to support our user research team, including data governance, vendor management, participant recruitment, asset management, knowledge management, and templates and guidelines.
- Build out the strategy for participant management and panel health, and execute it, including developing new recruiting channels, mechanisms, and best practices, tracking panel composition, and recommending strategic recruits based on upcoming projects or gaps identified.
- Create and maintain processes with other functions, including finance, legal, procurement, and security.
- Proactively identify and drive improvements as they relate to tools, processes, documentation, and metrics.
- Implement and oversee a metrics program to ensure that the team and program are hitting objectives and driving measurable impact.
- Manage team budget, including vendor and tool management.
- Support UX researchers in their day-to-day activities, including assisting with challenging recruiting, troubleshooting tools, and clearly communicating progress, status, expectations, dependencies, and risks to various audiences.
- 5+ years of experience working in a research operations role, ideally with UX research teams.
- Extensive knowledge of Qualtrics and strong understanding of UX research tools, including UserInterviews, Airtable, and UserZoom.
- Proven track record of overseeing end-to-end research participant recruiting processes for B2B.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and data privacy policies (GDPR, etc.) and understanding of how they apply to UX research.
- Experience with democratization of research is highly desirable.
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors, including your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The salary range for this role in California, Colorado, Washington, Texas, and Rhode Island is $112,000 - $143,000. In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus, and a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
