About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer Tech PRN to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all established echocardiography procedures, including stress echo testing.
  • Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow, and adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.
  • Analyze sonographic findings throughout the examination to ensure a comprehensive exam is complete and sufficient data is provided to the physician for a final diagnosis.
  • Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide the best medical care possible for all patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience.
