About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating MRI equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours of work per week, including 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
