About the Role

As a Recreation Therapist PRN, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who are recovering from illness or injury. You will design and implement therapeutic recreation programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your goal will be to help patients achieve their maximum potential and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement therapeutic recreation programs for patients
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure patient progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in therapeutic recreation and a passion for working with patients. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
