Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital caregiver responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process effectively, integrating technology and therapeutic interventions.
- Engage in evidence-based practices and collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assess and address both the psychological and physical needs of patients.
- Communicate with compassion and clarity, fostering strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Assist in the development of personalized treatment plans.
- Adhere to evaluation, treatment, and documentation standards.
- Supervise care provided by LPNs and/or CNAs.
- Participate in clinical team discussions to enhance care delivery.
- Follow established hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Colorado.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: One year of nursing experience in a similar environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
- Frequent verbal communication with patients, care providers, and visitors, especially in emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity to operate delicate equipment with precision.
- Frequent computer use for documenting patient care and accessing information.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and transport patients and equipment.
- Navigate busy environments safely and efficiently.
