Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis and verification of job content and associated costs.
  • Accurately process invoices using validated data in a timely manner.
  • Oversee daily unbilled jobs to guarantee prompt processing.
  • Review prep sheets and historical job tickets for data comparison and insights.
  • Input invoice information into accounting software to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive records related to billing, including invoices and supporting documents.
  • Engage with relevant parties to clarify billing inquiries and relay account information.
  • Assist in upholding an accurate record of company receivables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • An Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1 - 2+ years of experience in a billing specialist capacity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in 10-key, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook is essential.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various accounting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Competence in analyzing information and managing processes.
  • Professional demeanor and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
