Job Title: School Psychologist for 24/25 School YearJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to support student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development in Boulder, CO. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of educational psychology, experience with assessments and interventions, and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to evaluate student learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions to support student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services for students facing academic or emotional challenges.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in special education evaluations and eligibility determinations.
  • Provide professional development and support for teachers and staff on best practices in addressing students mental health and behavioral needs.
  • Advocate for students needs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA.
  • Develop and implement positive behavior support strategies and programs for individual students and the school as a whole.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. Education:
  • A master's degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  1. Licensure:
  • An active State School Psychologist License is required.
  1. Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a school psychologist or in an educational setting is preferred, but not mandatory for new graduates with appropriate training and internships.
