Soliant is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support student academic, social, and emotional development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of educational psychology, the ability to perform assessments, and experience developing effective interventions to improve student outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions to support student learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students facing academic or emotional challenges.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in special education evaluations and eligibility determinations.
- Provide professional development for teachers and staff on mental health, learning disabilities, and effective intervention strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: A master's degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- Licensure: Must have an active State School Psychologist License.
- Certification: National certification through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a school psychologist or in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates with appropriate training and internships.

- Follows the school district's academic calendar, with work during the school year and optional summer sessions.
