We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Engineer to join our team at the Hispanic Technology Executive Council. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Splunk deployments in a distributed, on-premises environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver complex Splunk solutions to meet business requirements
- Ensure that Splunk software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements
- Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contribute to existing test suites, analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Splunk 5+ years of experience
- L3 Troubleshooting (technical issues involving in-depth knowledge of system architecture, network configurations, and advanced troubleshooting)
- Linux OS - General Shell experience
- Regex - Read and create expressions
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
- Support of Splunk in an enterprise environment, with >100 TB day ingestion
- 24/7 On-Call Rotations including weekends
- Experience with HEC, dbConnect, index and search-head clusters, and deployment servers
- Cribl - Cribl Stream in a distributed on-premises environment
- Python
This role is based in the United States of America and requires a 1st shift schedule with 40 hours per week.
