About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional food experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Train and manage kitchen personnel, supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus, estimate food consumption, and requisition or purchase food to ensure high-quality and consistent dishes.
  • Menu Planning: Select and develop recipes, standardize production recipes, and establish presentation techniques and quality standards.
  • Operations Management: Oversee special catering events, ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including providing culinary instruction and demonstrations as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Education: 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience, with a culinary degree preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, including management of people and problems, and excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills.
