About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team at Tufts University. As a key member of our dental office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and caregivers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Input and verify patient information, schedule appointments, and confirm patient details.
  • Financial Functions: Collect payments, conduct daily batch reconciliations, and perform other related financial duties.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the department, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Provide leadership and guidance to fellow staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a medical or dental office setting.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of dental/medical software, codes, Microsoft Office, and dental terminology; excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with special needs populations, ability to work with patients, parents, guardians, and caregivers, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
