About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients and maintaining the integrity of the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients using appropriate techniques and devices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely labeling, accessioning, and delivery of specimens to the laboratory.
  • Respond promptly to phlebotomy requests for STAT, ASAP, and NOW orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy certification (CPT) or relevant healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
