Job Title: Youth Specialist - Part-Time

Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Specialist to join our team. As a Youth Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to youth in our residential program, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for youth, promoting positive relationships and behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support youth in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to youth services.
  • Provide education and training to youth on life skills, such as independent living, job readiness, and healthy relationships.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, household chores, and personal care.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of youth progress and services provided.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
