The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center seeks a skilled midwife to contribute to its climate of diversity and inclusivity. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to join our team in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department as an Open Rank, Open Track position in Midwifery.

As a key member of our team, you will manage women's health care services, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, newborn care, and family planning and gynecologic needs. You will practice within our healthcare system, providing consultation, collaborative management, or referral as needed. Additionally, you will participate in the education and training of student nurse midwives and other advanced practice providers.

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health, professional liability, and disability insurance, relocation support, retirement plan, and CME support. Required qualifications include eligibility to work in the United States, a Master's degree (MSN), and participation in the Certificate Maintenance Program with the American Midwifery Certification Board. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching adult learners, working in a multidisciplinary environment, and participating in clinical research.
