Position Summary and Qualifications

Call Center Agent

We are looking for a Call Center Agent who will provide essential clerical support to ensure that all patients receive exceptional and efficient care. Our team is dedicated to patient satisfaction, and we seek an enthusiastic individual who shares our commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception area, answer incoming calls, and interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Schedule, modify, and cancel patient appointments as needed.
  • Check in patients and accurately document their registration details.
  • Verify insurance information and patient demographics.
  • Maintain and organize medical records.
  • Perform copying and faxing tasks.
  • Collect payments and manage financial transactions.
  • Input charges and payments into the system, ensuring daily reconciliation.
  • Adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct and Mission Statement.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Experience: While less than one year of experience is required, one to three years is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with standard office equipment, including copiers and computers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service aptitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in following written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information.
