Salary and Benefits
The Medical Assistant position comes with a competitive salary of $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and PTO in accordance with applicable state law. Our 401(k) plan allows for company contributions up to 3% once eligible, providing long-term financial security.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Cedar Crest Village. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to medical and specialty providers, performing tasks such as initial patient assessments, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections. You will also manage the stocking of treatment rooms and ensure their cleanliness, partnering with lab facilities to maintain compliance with EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess current and active medical assistant certification, CPR training, and a minimum of 1-year experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in using computers. You should be able to perform each essential function consistently and with minimal supervision, utilizing learned skills to provide high-quality care.
