Job Summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a reliable and committed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to clients in facilities throughout Barrington and McHenry County. As a CNA with BrightStar Care, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to clients while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary.
- Provide care according to the patient's plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
Requirements
- A current, valid state CNA certification and in good standing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
