Leadership Opportunity in Addiction Treatment and Behavioral Health
The National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters is seeking a highly experienced Medical Director to lead our Inpatient Substance Use Unit. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all medical care and direct the activities and functions of the inpatient medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site medical and clinical leadership for the unit
- Coordinate with other providers to facilitate effective patient care
- Mentor clinicians and develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols relative to medical issues affecting addiction treatment
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical and behavioral health needs of patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Experience providing overall healthcare, behavioral and addiction treatment in an inpatient treatment setting
- Ability to work with, support, and supervise a multidisciplinary treatment team in the areas of behavioral health, substance use disorders, counseling, and overall patient care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
