Position Summary

The Assembler plays a vital role in supporting the Production Made-to-Stock and Made-to-Order Assembly Departments, ensuring the efficiency of all necessary processes.

Reporting Structure

The Assembler reports directly to the Group Leader and is accountable for achieving set goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately select necessary components for production orders.
  • Assemble, inspect, and package sub-components and finished products following instructions, production orders, and quality standards.
  • Perform specialized tasks within the assembly process as required.
  • Install components necessary for fulfilling assembly orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace and storage areas.
  • Assist in various assembly teams as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively within the assembly team.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as order printing, label creation, and tracking.
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements with the shipping department.
  • Prioritize and organize production documents based on customer commitments.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proactive with strong time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Average manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment and basic electronic testing tools.
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position is $18.64 per hour, with a performance bonus potential based on annual salary.
