Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Management
    • Provide constant supervision of children in your care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with Lead and Assistant Teachers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
    • Discuss special needs of individual children with teaching staff, supervisors, coaches, and parents.
  • Learning Environment and Activities
    • Establish a learning environment that values diversity and promotes cultural competency.
    • Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the needs and interests of our young learners.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist in the completion of daily attendance, meal counts, and other administrative tasks.
    • Practice family-style serving and dining with children.
  • Parent Involvement and Communication
    • Acquaint parents with program activities, developmentally appropriate practices, and program objectives.
    • Solicit parents' assistance and promote parent involvement through participation and activities.
  • Availability and Flexibility
    • Be available to work between 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
    • Be flexible when assigned to support in different classrooms.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Experience working with children ages 0-5.
    • Preferred: CDA Certification or a degree in education.
