About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Hardware Engineer to join our team at Trimble. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing digital hardware systems for our GNSS receivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital hardware systems and related components for GNSS receivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review system requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in schematic and PCB layout design.
  • Perform hardware testing and validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Document design processes and test results.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of digital logic design and hardware architectures.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., OrCAD, Allegro).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller interfaces.
  • Experience with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
