About the Position

The University of Kentucky is seeking exceptional Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor candidates for tenure track, regular title series positions, with a focus on individuals who lead independent research programs in cancer survivorship and/or supportive oncology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in cancer survivorship and/or supportive oncology, with a focus on individuals who lead independent research programs.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including study design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to advance the field of cancer survivorship and supportive oncology.
  • Mentor undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, junior faculty, and/or clinician scientists.
  • Develop and submit extramurally funded research proposals.
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Active research portfolio of extramurally funded, rigorous and innovative research in cancer survivorship.
  • Commitment to mentoring and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
