Amedisys is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of professionals committed to improving the lives of those we serve. As a key member of our homecare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Provide occupational therapy services to patients under a physician-approved plan of care, ensuring the plan addresses all identified problems.
- Documentation: Complete documentation timely and accurately, including patient assessments and progress reports.
- Supervision: Supervise home health aides when the RN is not active in the case.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- License: Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state assigned.
- Education: Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
- Certification: Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
- Experience: One year of related occupational therapy experience, or approval from regional clinical leaders with mentoring and/or residency program established.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification.
